By Air
Port Macquarie is serviced by Qantaslink and Virgin Blue jet services between Sydney and Port Macquarie.  Flying time is one hour from Sydney and 1.5 hours from Brisbane.

By Rail
CountryLink operates three XPT train services daily between Sydney and the Mid North Coast and return. One service is supplied with a connecting coach service from Wauchope station to Port Macquarie.

By Car
From Sydney follow the Pacific Highway north.  It is a 4.5 hour drive to Port Macquarie.  From Brisbane, it is a 7 hour drive south.  The Oxley Highway, over the Great Dividing Range, provides access from Tamworth and Western New South Wales.
